The UD Library offers a research support service aimed at the entire university community, especially those who carry out research.
Its main purpose is to offer support and advice on resources and services that help lecturers and researchers in the literature searching, writing, publication, visibility and evaluation of scientific production.
Research activity assessment: bibliometric indicators and accreditation processes
Support service particularly targeted at lecturers and researchers to spot quality indicators in their publications for the obtaining of accreditations, six-year research periods and any other research call in which evidence of the quality of their research work must be pointed out.
Author identifiers and profiles
Personalized assistance to create, merge and feed author identifiers and profiles such as ORCID, ResearcherID, Scopus ID, Dialnet or Google Scholar.
Scientific publication: visibility, dissemination and impact of research
Analyze the impact of journals and recommend those that may allow the researcher obtain better results.
Information on open access, plagiarism, unification and normalization of the author’s scientific name and the author’s profiles and identifiers.
References and bibliographic managers
Help in using bibliographic managers, especially, RefWorks.
Service aimed at lecturers, researchers and faculty staff of the UD, to help clarify any issue related to the use of third-party materials in our work.

Training sessions, scheduled or tailor-made, for undergraduate, postgraduate students, lecturers and researchers.

Advice on the Library information resources and bibliographic searches in specialized databases.
